In ScanNCut Canvas when you choose your colour properties, there are options to choose cut lines and draw lines for your projects.
You can see here that the photo top left shows the scollop shape selected and the photo top right shows that I have assigned a cut line to it.
The photo bottom left shows the words are selected and the photo bottom right shows that I have assigned a draw line to it.
In the next lot of photos you can see that when I put the design into the ScanNCut machine the shapes shows up in black and the words which had a draw line assigned to them show up in blue.
Click on the photo to see it in full size with annotations.
I was able to put the pen in and choose draw on the machine and it only drew the two words and stopped, I then put the blade in and chose cut and it cut the two shapes.
This is such a handy feature to have so give it a try and let me know how you get on.
So I started this little paper bunting the other day which was inspired by one of the projects in the book that came with the ScanNCut machine.
Even though it is only a small project I kind of lost my way with it, so I’ve left it alone for a few days and returned to it today with renewed enthusiast.
I’ve put magnetic sheet on the back of it and it’s on my daughters magnetic board above her desk.
All made on the ScanNCut and the font is from canvas which I just put onto a USB stick for cutting out.
