In this video I show you how to can use your Silhouette Studio cutting files with the Brother ScanNCut. I also show you how to import SVG cutting files into the Brother online canvas software and convert and save them.

You can see the results I got when I cut the converted shape depending on which option I chose from within scan to cut data.
Option 3 is a bit of a mess but in mine and the machines defence I didn’t do anything to it I just chose the option and told it to cut. If I had played around with the settings a little more I may have got a different result, but the result that I wanted was as in option 2, which cut perfectly.

Ok so I’ve got someone at home today poorly, so apart from a visit to the doctors I am confined to the house, the weather is horrible so rather than eat my way through the cupboards and fridge I thought I would make use of the cuts out I did yesterday.
I’ve designed the base card and spring word mat in canvas and just decorated it simply with some paper bunting which was a stamped image I scanned and cut and the flowers are some no stamp required images I’ve had years, again scanned and cut out with the SNC.
