I watched a Youtube video a few weeks ago from Crafts by Two (these guys are funny) and they showed this great 5 point star and offered the cutting file in SVG format.
The video is Here and in the “show more” box you will find the link to their cutting file.
I opened it in Canvas and made a matting layer using the Path tool, last night was the first opportunity I have had to cut it and put it together.
The original design will be fairly large when made up as each fin is about 8/9 inches, as I wasn’t sure how mine would turn out I reduced the size down to 5 inches high, this also enabled me to get 2 fins out of an A4 (8.5 x 11) piece of Papermill card, so 2.5 sheets total used.
I was also able to get all 10 matting layers out of 1 piece of 12×12 double sided Stampin Up designer series paper.
I used a Stampin Up glue stick to stick all the paper to the card and my Stampin Up Tombo glue to seal each fin and attach it all together. If you haven’t tried Tombo glue give it a go it grabs quick and holds fast.
All the stampin Up products are available from my Online shop link at top if interested. It just needs hanging up now.

Some of you may have already seen these cute Girls, but I thought I would also add them here.
Meet Shirley, Goodness and Mercy I bought this SVG cutting file from “My Scrap Chick” again Ive used Stampin Up designer series paper and card and some scraps from my stash, they went together nice and easy and now sit above our desk in our craft room.

So this morning we have woken up to snow, it is lovely and bright but very cold. These are the views from the front and back of my house, this is nothing really compared to what we have had in the past but it does look so pretty.

This week I have a little quick project for Valentines day it is using some printed labels I found on the internet and the Stampin Up cellophane treat bags that are available in my online shop if anyone wants to buy them, they are £3.95 and you get 25, they would be so handy for other gifts too, maybe a nail file, pen etc.
You can find them Here
The video is Here
The link to the labels is in the description box under the Youtube video. I hope you enjoy it.

So I’ve read recently that someone didn’t know that the “test” function was in the ScanNCut machine, so I thought I would do a video on how I used this feature when I first got my machine.
The video is here
If you would like the Free printable PDF blank cutting list I mention you can download it
Here and add your own cut and blade settings. I hope it helps.
