Welcome To My Blog

So Ive made a few more Easter cards, this time Ive made them using a free SVG cutting file from Birdscards, If you google you should be able to find the site and I found this design in the “shaped cards” section.

Ive used Papermill Linen effect white card as my base

Stampin Up designer series Paper

The colours I’ve used are strawberry slush, costal cabana and crisp cantaloupe.

I added a little sponged inking around the edges of the bow for definition in matching colours and a little stickles glitter glue, simple but so cute I think.

All cut with ScanNCut on cut pressure 1, blade depth 5 for Papermill linen effect card, blade depth 4 for SU card and 3 for SU DS paper which is like a light weight card rather than paper.

My blade and mat are over a year old so you may want to test cut if you use the same products especially if your blade is newer.

We are getting into Easter mode in my house at the moment, not eating eggs yet! But lots of cards being made one way or another.

This card I designed in Scan n cut Canvas and I think it’s turned out ok.

The card is from the Papermill I think it’s about 240gsm and I cut it on the regular mat blade4, pressure3, speed5

I’ve made this little Easter card tonight, it was all made directly on the ScanNCut machine, except for the faux stitching, which I did with a 005 Micron pen.

The base card is two 4 inch scollop squares welded together, I also cut a 4 inch scollop square in white card and pink paper.

The eggs were cut at 2 inch and 1.5 inches. I used the bird border with the pen tool to decorate the large egg, this border was reduced from just under 12 inches which is it’s default size to 1.5 inches wide and look how good it still looks drawn with the pen tool.
