Hi everyone, if you have followed me for some time you will know that back in December/January I challenged myself to use my embroidery machine more and I said that I was going to try and post a sewing/embroidery project every month, well so far so good!
We are now in June and I've managed to post not one but sometimes two sewing/embroidery projects, here is todays. Its an in the hoop passport cover and its a free stitch file available with my all access cover from Creative Fabrica.
Click here if you want to join or get more info about CF, I will also leave a direct link to the individual stitch file, incase you are already a member, just click on view profile in the link details to see all the other alphabet letters that are available for this project.
In the hoop passport cover Here the file contains 3 quilt stitch designs, so if you don't like the design I stitched you have other pattern options. As I said in the video I will be making this again, but next time I will stitch all the steps and cut around the outside very close the the final stitching I personally think it will look better.
I hope you like the project.
Hi everyone for todays project I am showing you how I made this in the hoop coaster/mug rug directly on my Brother Innovis V5LE sewing/embroidery machine without a pattern.
You should be able to do this on any machine that has the frames I show you in the video.
Its all done directly on the machine and in the hoop, bare in mind depending on what size hoops you have you can make this smaller or bigger and turn it into dinner/placemats and you can also change the shape, it really is a versatile little project.
I hope you like it.
Hi everyone so I have another sewing project for you today, I have to say I've been loving using my embroidery machine this year and it seems to be taking over my paper craft projects, I hope you don"t mind.
I do know a lot of you found me because you bought a ScanNCut to help you with appliqué or fabric cutting as your first love and several of you have told me that you have tried paper crafting because of me.
I still love paper crafting and I will continue to make cards and ScanNCut cutting files but I am loving the versatility of machine embroidery and Im loving being able to bring a variety of projects to my youtube channel and blog, I also think finding Creative Fabrica with its vast amount of crafting resources has helped.
Todays project is a free embroidery file from CF and I will put a link below if you want more information or want to join Here
If you are already a member Here is a direct link to the embroidery file.
The file is available in all machine embroidery formats and comes in 4 sizes, small, medium, large and extra large all in the download file. I stitched the small as I just want something to keep a small amount of change in for car parking fees to keep in my car.
If you own an embroidery machine and haven't yet tried in the hoop projects, this is the perfect first design to stitch out, it only has 4 steps and takes just minutes to make I hope you like it.
Links to my sewing machine, stabiliser and the snaps I've used are all in my amazon craft favourites at the top of the page.
