Ive shown how to make stencil with the ScanNCut before but it was some years ago, so I though I would do a quick video and show you how quick and easy it is to make your own stencils.
I didn’t have any stencil material so for this project I used an empty laminating pouch which I ran through my laminator to bond it together and I cut it with the SDX 2200D, it cut beautifully.
I was thinking that it would be easy to clean once ive used it, but you could cut it from card but depending on what you are using as a stencil media it may be a one time only use, but the beauty of having a ScanNCut is that you can always cut it again once you have your saved design.
So this is what I made, not easy to see so Ive put it against a piece of pink card and here are a couple of cards I made with it.
I have another idea for a card using a stencil so In next weeks video I will create another stencil and show you the full process of making it with the laminator and how I am going to use it.
