A few days ago in a livestream I showed you the "no matter the weather" card kit, so today I thought I would split up a few of the elements from the kit and make a couple of alternative cards.
The card top left in the first picture is how the card is made using the instructions from the kit.
Alternate card No1 is made by using a thick basic white card base (half a piece of A4 scored and folded)
I added a piece of basic white card stock cut at 3.5 x 5", with some very subtle balmy blue sponging, splattered some basic grey ink from the kit and stamped the clouds in the same colour also from the kit.
Added the boots without the flowers, stamped some granny apple green on the bottom of the the layer and added one of the spare blue labels.
Alternate card No2, I cut the die cut boots from the kit apart, so I have the green ones to use with the original base layer they are supposed to go with.(You can see the original card on the bottom left of the first picture.)
Stamped a greeting from the kit on a spare white round label and placed it over the cut apart, so you would never know that I have tampered with it.
Again this was put on a piece of 3.5 x 5 basic white card, which I sponged with balmy blue added some green on the bottom and wrapped some of the twine from the kit around the bottom. Stamped the rain drops from the kit with the basic grey ink, and popped the die cuts up on dimensionals. I then added this to another half A4 scored and folded basic white thick card stock.
This kit makes 9 cards, but by adding a bit of extra card stock and splitting up some of the elements from the kit you will be able to make it go further. Here are the remaining elements, used with the card bases and layers from the kit. Hope you like the ideas.
