I can not take credit for this idea as I saw it on the net somewhere, but for the life of me I can not remember where.
Anyway these little scented hangers are really easy to do and take minutes.
You need 2 pieces of fabric (the same or different) at 3x5inch
1 Piece of ribbon 7inch
Thread and scented filling.
I used seam allowance of 1/4inch
Put your fabric right sides together and sew down both long sides.
Turn one of the short ends over 1/4inch
Next press but press with the long sides seams together so that if you have used different fabric you will be able to see both fabrics on each side when turned the right way out.
Take your piece of ribbon and fold it in half and with the fabric still wrong sides out insert the ribbon fold side down into the fabric against the seam in the end that isn’t turned over, leave about 1/4inch of ribbon poking out the top.
Now sew across this short end to fasten the ribbon into the seam.
Turn it right side out push out the corners and top stitch across to add extra security for the ribbon.
Fill the open (turned in hem) end with your chosen filling to about 1/4-1/2 inch from the top.
Pin and top stitch, to close and match the other end.
