When Is A Font Not A Font?

Hi everyone I am often asked if there are fonts available that wont leave gaps in the middle of the draw lines, so that we don't have to use the fill option when drawing text.

The answer is there are fonts that are know as single stroke or single line fonts available but usually they are paid for fonts and a google search may help you find something you like.

However, the SDX2200D & SDX1200 scanncut machines, do have a single line alphabet that will give the look of a single line font.

The only problem is its not a font, each letter is an individual draw file and it only has upper case and numbers.

In todays video I will show you the results I got using this alpahbet file using a few different pens. I think I have shown this briefly in the past, but its good to recap and show any new scanncut users with these machines where to find it and how it works. Hope it helps.
